Tunings
Add an option to change the tuning of your virtual fretboard. Pre-defined list of common tunings; freestyle option to tune each string to exactly what you want.
Left handed
Add in a button to toggle the display between a left and right handed fretboard
Metronome
Add a metronome to the music stand so that pupils can hear a click when playing
User Profile Pages
Pages accessible via www.theguitarwoodshed.com/username to display profile information. This would include profile pictures, bios, and possibly links to videos / lessons / information.
More/Less Strings
Add options to produce fretboard diagrams for 4,5 and 7 string instruments.
Members can create lesson pages
Allow full members to create lesson pages associated with their profile. These pages could provide guitar related information such as hints, tips, licks and exercises.
mp3 playback
Allow teachers to ‘load’ a track onto the virtual music stand – pupil can then play it on their computer to play along with. This allows the teacher to manage and control which backing tracks get played when and means the pupil can play them and look at tab/fretboard diagrams etc all in one place.
Store music stand diagrams online
In addition to publishing the music stand to the web add a feature to allow you to save the music stand to a file online. You can then load this back during a lesson and publish to your live music stand online. This would be useful for diagrams that have more complex or specific information in them that would take longer to do live in a lesson.
